Home-garden-and-kitchen cupboard

Don't feel like buying a special product for it? Then your kitchen cupboard is your best friend! Read on to find out how you can easily remove your fake tan with a few simple products.

Lemon juice

Have you accidentally stained while applying self-tanner? Stains on your hands, feet and wrists are often only visible when the self-tanner has completely absorbed and are therefore difficult to prevent.

An effective way to correct stains is to apply lemon juice. Yes really! For example, soak a cotton pad or washcloth in the juice and warm it briefly in the microwave or in a pan. Now you can touch on the spots, you should see an immediate improvement. Do you suffer from stubborn stains? Then repeat this step several times.

Toothpaste

Do you have small spots in hard-to-reach places, such as between your fingers? Put some whitening toothpaste there, let it dry for a while and the stain will disappear like snow in the sun! The same applies here: repeat this step if it concerns a stubborn stain.

Warm bath

Did your fake tan turn out darker than you hoped? Even then it is possible to fade the color, so that you are left with a natural brown shade. A nice, easy way to fade self-tanner is to take a warm bath. Add a lot of bubble bath or oil to your water, it will soak your tan off. If you can, sit in the warm water for an hour! (that's not a punishment at all of course)

baby oil

Are you still not satisfied with your self-tanner after taking a warm bath and exfoliating your skin? Then apply plenty of baby oil and let it soak in for as long as possible. Make sure to apply a thick layer of oil and let it soak in for at least 10 to 30 minutes. Then rinse the oil from your skin. For example, use a washcloth for a light scrubbing effect.

It can happen that your skin feels a bit stiff or dry after removing self-tanner. Therefore, always apply a nourishing body lotion, so that your skin can recover!
