Where do I begin?
Don't worry, we've already set out the steps for the perfect curls for you. It's up to you to find the right products for your curls! To make it really easy, here are the steps that are important for a good bunch of curls:

Step 1. Final Wash
So the final wash is step 1 of your CG routine. In this first step, you ensure that you thoroughly clean your hair and remove harmful substances such as (hard) sulfates and silicones, as well as certain waxes that are not water-soluble.
Many hair products contain extremely hard cleaning substances such as sulphates, alcohol and silicones that dry out your hair instead of taking care of it. With the final wash (or your last wash) you clean your hair once before you start the Curly Girl Method. You use a shampoo that is free of silicones but does contain sulfates!
That may sound crazy, using a shampoo that does contain sulfates, even though they are so harmful to your hair. But you need this because sulfates do their job super well and can remove the silicones from your hair quite easily.
