What is a brow pen exactly?
A brow pen is a pen with a liquid or powdery formula and a very fine tip. On the best known type, the micro prong or microblading pen, that tip is split into two to four tiny prongs. Put it to your skin and you draw several hair fine lines in one movement. The result looks like microblading, only without a needle and it washes straight off.
Microblading pen, tint pen or powder pen?

How do you use a brow pen?
- Work on dry, clean skin. Ink grabs badly over foundation or cream.
- Brush your brows up first so you can see where there really is nothing.
- Draw short, separate strokes in the direction of growth. Do not join them into a line.
- Vary the angle a little. Hairs do not all grow exactly the same way.
- Start light. You can always add a stroke, taking one away is harder.
- Set with a brow gel if you want it to last all day.
How long does a brow pen last?
A regular brow pen lasts a day and comes off in the evening. Brow pen or eyebrow pencil?
A pen draws crisper and lasts longer, an eyebrow pencil is more forgiving and easier to blend. If your brows are fairly full with a few gaps, a pen is the fastest fix. If you want to fill the whole brow softly, a pencil or eyebrow powder is nicer to work with. Plenty of people use both: pen for the individual hairs, pencil for the rest.
