What is the difference between vegan and cruelty free?
Cruelty free and vegan are not the same thing. Cruelty free is about testing: the product has not been tested on animals. Vegan is about the ingredients: nothing of animal origin is used. So a product can be cruelty free and still contain beeswax or carmine. Want both? Look for vegan make-up that is also cruelty free.
