During her pregnancy, she experienced extremely dry and sensitive skin. Raised with the healing recipes from her South Asian roots, she turned to her mother and grandmother for advice. The result? A powerful, natural care product that transformed her skin — and became the foundation of what is now called Delhicious.

The first product was born from a family recipe with Indian ingredients, inspired by the Ayurvedic knowledge of Zara’s Indian grandmother, a descendant of a long line of ‘hakims’ in Delhi. From that love for natural care, the brand got its name: Delhicious — a nod to both its origin and the philosophy behind each product.
A personal story of Zak & Zara
Zara studied at the London School of Economics and worked in education, but decided to fully focus on growing Delhicious alongside motherhood. Now with two children, her mission remains the same: to create effective care based on powerful, natural remedies. Zak worked for over ten years in various sectors and now combines his passion for self-care with his entrepreneurship to grow the brand together with Zara.
