Zoya Nail Polish Gael is a deep red with a metallic finish, neutral in undertone. Two coats give full coverage, so the metallic shine sits evenly across the nail.
Gael sits between the two other red shades in the Sonnet collection. It has the same metallic shine as Phyre, but deeper and without the orange side. Merritt is darker still and has no shine at all. If you want a red you can wear all autumn that still catches the light, Gael is that shade.
The formula is made without formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor and TPO. That makes this nail polish an option if you pay attention to what goes on your nails.

How many coats do I need for full coverage?
Two thin coats. Let each coat dry before you apply the next: thin coats dry faster and give a more even result than one thick coat, which lifts at the edges sooner.
Will a dark polish stain my nails?
It can: pigment from dark and bright shades sinks into the nail plate and leaves a yellow cast. A base coat prevents that, because it puts a layer between your nail and the colour.
