Spooky squishies for your trick or treat bag
Handing out candy is always an option, but something that lasts is even better. These two are specially made for Halloween and they are pop-up squishies: you press them in and they pop right back.

Look 1: the classic gothic
Black eyeliner in a sharp wing, matte dark lips and a pale base. You don't need much for it and it always looks good.
- Apply an even base with a foundation half a shade lighter than usual.
- Create a dramatic wing liner and extend the eyeliner a little further than you're used to.
- Opt for matte lipstick, no shine. That makes the difference between a gothic and an evening look.
Look 2: glitter skull
I can see you thinking, oh, a skull? But it's easier than it looks. Draw the contours of a skull around your eyes and nose with a white or black eyeliner. Apply a glitter primer and dab loose glitter over it to fill in all areas.
Prefer no hassle with loose glitter? A glitter cream applies easily and doesn't require a separate glitter primer.
Look 3: nails as a finishing touch
Halloween nails are the easiest way to participate without painting your entire face and it doesn't have to be difficult at all. Just black or dark burgundy with a single accent nail works perfectly fine too.
Prefer something special? A matte topcoat over black gel polish gives a velvety effect that looks more expensive than it is.
