Cleaning your makeup brushes:
Cleaning your makeup brushes is important to keep your skin healthy and extend the life of your brushes. We recommend cleaning your brushes thoroughly at least once a week to prevent bacteria buildup that can harm your skin.
Step 1. Clean your brush
Hold the brush under lukewarm running water. Avoid getting water into the ferrule as this can loosen the glue holding the bristles. Apply cleanser to your palm or a brush cleansing mat and gently swirl the bristles in circular motions.
Step 2. Rinse the brush well
Rinse under lukewarm water until all cleanser is removed and the water runs clear. Gently squeeze out the excess water with your fingers.
Step 3. Reshape the brush
Gently reshape the bristles. Slide a brush protector over the brush, starting at the handle and moving toward the bristles to help maintain its shape.
Step 4. Let the brush dry
Lay the brush flat on a clean towel to dry. Ideally, angle the brush downward by placing a rolled towel under the handle.
Step 5. Disinfect
If desired, lightly spray your brush with brush cleanser to disinfect.
