Cleaning your makeup brushes:

Cleaning your makeup brushes is important to keep your skin healthy and to extend the life of your brushes. That’s why we recommend cleaning your makeup brushes thoroughly and regularly, at least once a week. This prevents a build-up of bacteria that can clog your skin.

Step 1. Clean your brush

Hold your brush under running lukewarm water. Make sure no water gets into the ferrule, as moisture can damage the glue that holds the bristles. Apply cleanser to your palm or to a brush cleansing mat and gently rub the bristles into the cleanser with circular motions.

Step 2. Rinse the brush thoroughly

Rinse the brush thoroughly under lukewarm water until all the cleanser is removed and the water runs clear again. Gently squeeze the excess water out of the brush with your fingers.

Step 3. Reshape the brush

Gently reshape the bristles to their original shape. Then slide a brush protector over the brush, starting from the handle and moving towards the bristles, to keep them from losing their shape.

Step 4. Let the brush dry

Place the brush on a clean towel to dry. Ideally, lay the brushes at an angle with the bristles facing down, for example by placing a rolled-up towel under the handle.

Step 5. Disinfect

If you like, you can disinfect your brush by lightly spraying it with brush cleanser.

Want to create the illusion of a slimmer nose? Draw light lines along the sides of your nose. Use the tip of the brush for this

Step 4. Contour your forehead

Apply contour along your hairline and on your temples to make your forehead look smaller

Step 5. Contour your jawline

To make your face look slimmer, apply your contour to your jawline and chin

Step 4. Blend well

Use the angled side of the brush to blend the contour on your forehead, cheekbones and jawline. Blend the contour along the sides of your nose with the tip of the brush
