The RobyNails Classic Tip 100 Pieces is a small box of nail tips in a natural colour, with 100 pieces in ten sizes. These are classic tips: on the underside there is a glue well, the cut-out area where the glue goes, and with that you stick the tip onto the tip of your own nail.

That glue well is wide, so the tip fits almost any nail, including wider nails where narrower tips start to pinch. Once it is on, you file away the ridge where the tip meets your nail, and you work acrylic gel or builder gel over it. With 100 pieces in a case with compartments, this is the smaller of the two, handy if you work with tips now and then.

How to use

For each nail, find the tip that is exactly as wide as your nail.
Put a drop of nail glue on the glue well of the tip.
Place the tip at an angle on the tip of your nail and press it down for a few seconds.
Trim the tip to length and file the edge smooth until you can no longer feel the transition.
Work gel or acrylic over it and finish with a top coat.

What is the difference between a classic tip and a soft gel tip?

A classic tip has a glue well and sits only on the tip of your nail, while a soft gel tip covers the whole nail. You glue the classic tip on and then build it up with gel or acrylic.

Do I need nail glue for these tips?

Yes, classic tips are glued on with nail glue, and the glue is not included in the box. Build the tip up with builder gel or acrylgel and file the seam smooth.
