MelodySusieFull Cover Soft Gel Nail Tips Long Almond Stiletto 600pcs
Full cover nail tips in a long almond stiletto, 600 pieces in fifteen sizes. The inside is pre buffed to 70 grit, so you can skip filing before you glue.
Description
The MelodySusie Soft Gel Nail Tips Long Almond Stiletto are full cover nail tips in a long almond shape that tapers to a point. With six hundred in the box you are set for a while, especially if you keep using the same sizes.
The inside comes pre-etched to a half-matte 70 grit finish. That is exactly the roughness glue or gel needs to grip, so you do not have to sand them first. The box holds fifteen sizes instead of the usual twelve, with the number on every tip, so you find the size that fits edge to edge on each finger. The acrylic bends along without breaking white.
These nail tips:
- have a long almond stiletto shape, tapering narrow to a point
- are full cover, so there is little blending at the transition
- come pre-etched with a half-matte 70 grit finish
- come in fifteen sizes, numbered on the tip
- hold six hundred tips, enough for several sets
- stay on for twenty-eight days or longer
- bend along without leaving a white crease
- are cruelty free
How to use
- Find the tip that fits edge to edge on each finger and lay them out in order.
- Push back your cuticles, take the shine off your nail and degrease it.
- Apply glue or gel, set the tip at a slight angle and press it flat without air bubbles.
- Cut the length with a tip cutter and file the shape.
- Blend the transition smooth and paint or build up as you normally would.
- Remove them with remover or a drill, never by pulling them off.
Questions (3)
How do I know which size I need?
Every tip has a number on the top. Before you start, hold the tip next to each finger that is as wide as your nail bed, from edge to edge, and write the number down. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one and file the sides down a little: a tip that is too narrow lifts at the edges. With fifteen sizes in the box you will almost always find one that fits.
Do I still have to buff the tip before I glue it on?
No. Both sides are already pre treated matte at 70 grit, and that is exactly the roughness glue or gel needs to bond. Your own nail does need preparing: push the cuticles back, take off the shine and degrease.
How long do they stay on?
With good preparation and enough glue or gel you get twenty eight days or more. If they come off sooner, that is nearly always down to the prep: oil or moisture on the nail, or a tip that does not close fully at the sides. If you work with gel, cure every layer separately.
