Cleaning your makeup brushes:
Cleaning your makeup brushes is essential to keep your skin healthy and prolong the life of your brushes. We recommend thoroughly cleaning your brushes at least once a week to prevent the buildup of bacteria that can affect your skin.
Step 1. Clean the brush
Hold your brush under lukewarm running water. Avoid getting water into the ferrule as moisture can damage the glue holding the bristles. Apply cleanser to your palm or to a brush cleansing mat and gently swirl the bristles in circular motions.
Step 2. Rinse thoroughly
Rinse under lukewarm water until all the cleanser is gone and the water runs clear. Gently squeeze out excess water with your fingers.
Step 3. Reshape the brush
Gently reshape the bristles to their original form. Slide a brush protector over the brush starting from the handle to help maintain the shape.
Step 4. Let it dry
Lay the brush flat on a clean towel to dry. Preferably place it at an angle with the bristles pointing downward by placing a rolled-up towel under the handle.
Step 5. Disinfect
If desired, lightly mist the brush with a brush cleanser for disinfection.
