Cleaning your makeup brushes:

Cleaning your makeup brushes is important to keep your skin healthy and extend the life of your brushes. That’s why we recommend cleaning your brushes thoroughly at least once a week. This helps prevent the buildup of bacteria that can affect your skin.

Step 1. Clean your brush

Hold your brush under lukewarm running water. Make sure no water gets into the ferrule, as moisture can damage the glue holding the bristles. Apply cleanser to your palm or a brush cleansing mat and gently swirl the bristles in circular motions.

Step 2. Rinse thoroughly

Rinse the brush under lukewarm water until all cleanser is removed and the water runs clear. Gently squeeze out excess water with your fingers.

Step 3. Reshape the brush

Carefully reshape the bristles back to their original form. Then slide a brush protector over the brush, starting from the handle and sliding it toward the bristles to maintain their shape.

Step 4. Let the brush dry

Lay the brush on a clean towel to dry. Ideally, place the brush at an angle with the bristles facing downward by placing a rolled-up towel under the handle.

Step 5. Disinfect

If desired, disinfect your brush by lightly spraying it with brush cleanser.

• For a natural sun-kissed look, apply bronzer to areas of the face that would naturally catch the sun, in a 3 shape from your forehead to your cheekbones to your jawline.
• Blend the bronzer for a smooth, bronzed finish.

Blush:

• Start by applying your foundation and setting it with powder.
• Dip your brush into the blush and gently tap off the excess to avoid over-applying.
• Apply the blush to the apples of your cheeks. For a lifted effect, apply it toward the temples.
• Blend well to soften harsh lines and achieve a natural look.
