Lethal Cosmetics
Lethal Cosmetics is a German company founded by Anna and Kai. Anna and Kai are a couple and that makes them the parents of this brand.
They founded the company in 2016 because they felt that there was very little nice vegan and cruelty-free make-up available in Germany. If we can't buy it, why not make it ourselves? That's what they did! Anna knew what products she was missing and immediately got to work formulating the first eyeshadows and liquid lipsticks. With a background in cosmetic science, she has a keen eye for colour. Kai got to work on the packaging, the first online store and was a test person for the first prototypes.
Early 2017 they launched Lethal Cosmetics and within a few hours they were completely sold out!
Homemade make-up
Today, the couple is no longer just the two of them in the tiny lab. They have a great team, a much larger lab, almost 300 different products for sale and retailers all over the world who stock Lethal Cosmetics products.
But some things haven’t changed: they’re still an ethical brand, still make everything in-house, and still have a blast doing it. From pressed powder shadows to liquid lipsticks, glosses and highlighters, they get a kick out of creating unique, high-quality, ethical makeup at affordable prices.
