Cleaning your makeup brushes:
Cleaning your makeup brushes is important for keeping your skin healthy and extending their lifespan. We therefore recommend thoroughly cleaning your makeup brushes regularly, at least once a week. This prevents bacteria from building up and contaminating your skin.
Step 1. Clean your brush
Hold your brush under running lukewarm water. Avoid getting any water in the ferrule, as moisture can damage the adhesive layer on the bristles. Apply cleaner to your palm or a Brush Cleansing Mat and gently rub the bristles in the cleaner using circular motions. You can also clean your brush with the Brush & Sponge Cleansing Soap & Pad .
Step 2. Rinse the brush well
Rinse the brush thoroughly under lukewarm water until all the cleaner is removed and the water runs clear. Gently squeeze any excess water from the brush with your fingers.
Step 3. Reshape the brush
Gently shape the bristles back to their original shape. Then, slide a Brush Protector over the brush, starting from the handle and sliding it towards the bristles to maintain the shape of the bristles.
Step 4. Let the brush dry
Place the brush on a clean towel to dry. Ideally, lay the brushes at an angle with the bristles facing down, for example, by placing a rolled-up towel under the handle.
Step 5. Disinfect
If desired, you can disinfect your brushes by lightly sprinkling them with Brush Cleanser .
