6 Tips for Using Retinol:
- When using retinol for the first time, start slowly. Apply every other night at first.
- Make sure to use retinol at least 3 times per week for it to be effective.
- Don’t forget to apply SPF the next morning, as retinol makes your skin more sensitive to the sun.
- Wait until your skin is completely dry before applying. Mixing retinol with water can cause irritation.
- Let retinol absorb for 15 minutes before applying your moisturizer.
- Be consistent – use for at least 6 months. You will see results, but it takes time and regular application.
